SCADAmetrics^® is pleased to announce that the industry’s most revolutionary remote display for water meters has been made even better! – Today, we are proud to unveil our new and improved Model TMD, TheMeterDisplay™ !

Our patented Model TMD, TheMeterDisplay™ has all the same features you’ve come to know and love, such as a pass-thru port for concurrent AMI/AMR connectivity, an easy-to-read backlit display, compatibility with every modern encoder-type water meter in the industry, and a user-replaceable battery plus several notable improvements:

• The pushbutton is now encased within an IP-68 silicone seal – designed to withstand even the wettest environments. Overall IP rating increased from IP-65 to IP-66.
• Also, the visual contrast of the LCD display now automatically self-adjusts for extreme ambient outdoor temperatures – in support of our most-northern Canadian and our most-southern Arizona, Texas, and Florida customers.
• Furthermore, the internal LCD module has been provided with extra bracing to prevent dislodgement during rough shipping and handling.
• And finally, the microcontroller (the “brain”) of the display has been upgraded to a newer model chip for which we were able to obtain and stock a 5-year inventory supply – meaning short lead times for our customers!
